Internation logistic situation

I have received several emails asking about the production and shipping status of some ongoing projects. I am writing to give you a clear update on the current logistics situation in China.

First of all, we sincerely apologize for the troubles and inconvenience caused by the delays. The biggest factor remains COVID-19. We all hoped the situation would improve, but new cases continue to appear in many cities every day. Everyone is concerned about infection risks. The government has deployed a large number of medical personnel to conduct nucleic acid testing and implement quarantine measures for confirmed cases.

As a result, some cities have been put under lockdown. Many factories were forced to suspend production temporarily, which has affected the material supply for some of our projects. This is why some orders could not be delivered on schedule.

As for logistics, the situation is quite challenging. All our goods are normally shipped to you via Hong Kong. Since March, the government has suspended land freight transportation, so all goods have been rerouted to Hong Kong by sea, which takes 4–6 days to reach the express warehouse.

After March 16, the pandemic situation in Hong Kong worsened. Shipping from mainland China to Hong Kong now takes 7–10 days or even longer. In addition, many flights have been canceled, leading to a serious shortage of air freight space. A large backlog of goods is waiting for shipment, making the whole delivery process much longer than usual.

The mainland government is sending many medical teams to support Hong Kong, and we believe international express services will return to normal soon.

COVID-19 has greatly disrupted our work and daily life, making many things unpredictable. However, the government is taking strict control measures, and we are hopeful that the situation will improve soon.
